Blackwater strain, hybrid

Blackwater comes from Mendo Purps crossed with San Fernando Valley OG Kush, and the purple side of that pairing is what you smell first. The aroma is sweet and grape-like, with a thin line of lemon and pine running under it from the OG parent. The store lists it as a hybrid. People describe it as slow and mellow at the start, spreading out from there into something heavier, and most of them save it for late in the evening rather than the middle of a working day. The flavour follows the smell closely, grape forward with the pine showing up at the back. A clear profile and an easy one to recognize once you have had it.
