Chocolope strain, sativa

Chocolope is one of the few strains where the food in the name actually turns up in the smell. It runs earthy first, then sweet coffee, with a cocoa edge that shows more once it is ground. Flavour holds that coffee character all the way through, and it stays smooth rather than sharp. Buds are big and a little airy compared with modern dense hybrids, which is normal for a haze leaning plant. The store lists it as a sativa, and people commonly describe it as heady and awake, easy to keep moving with. It is an old name that has stayed in rotation on flavour alone.
